Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth, covering the tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, or simply to improve its appearance. When the crown is adhered into place, it will fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line. For additional information about these dental crowns, contact Huron Dental Center.

Tooth Colored Fillings (Composites)

Today, several dental filling materials are available. Teeth can be filled with gold; porcelain; silver amalgam fillings or tooth colored composite fillings constructed from glass and resin. The location, extent of decay, cost and your insurance coverage are all factors to consider in choosing filling materials. Our dentist assessment will assist in determining whether an amalgam filling or a tooth colored composite filling will best address your needs. . Extractions

If you have lost some or all of your teeth due to gum disease, decay or accidental impact, dentures can dramatically improve your smile. A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Our Ann Arbor dentists may suggest full dentures or partial dentures, depending on how many natural teeth you have lost and the condition of your existing teeth.
